- Where should I bring my child? Now that our astroturf is laid at Glebe House School in Hunstanton this will be our base. On arrival park in the open area at the end of the drive leading from the A149 and walk to the left to the astro/fields
- How do we register? Staff will be on hand to meet you and your child(ren). If appropriate please ensure we have appropriate medical/emergency contact information. At the end of the session, please collect your child(ren) and their belongings from the fields or dining room (as advised on arrival) and all parents/guardians must sign their own children out. If anyone else is collecting, please let us know on arrival or ring the emergency no: mobile 07950 067028 or the school on 01485 532809.
- What clothes do they need? Although the children soon warm up our climate can be variable, so extra layers that can be taken off are advisable. Most sports will take place outside at Glebe House and the playing field is exposed to the elements!. As a rule a warm tracksuit, over a t-shirt/football shirt, and shorts are best. Also a waterproof jacket and trousers in case of rain. Where hockey and rugby are on the programme a gum shield will be required, shin pads are compulsory for soccer and advisable for hockey and rugby
- What shoes do they need? Clean outdoor trainers are a must for the astro and should be put on adjacent to the pitch. Football boots may be worn on grass, although conditions may favour trainers. In wet weather shoes should be taken off before they go inside for lunch during holiday courses.
- Where can they leave their belongings and lunch if needed? There will be space allocated for each group in the dining room for this.
- Do they need any other equipment? We will provide all sports equipment. If your child wants to bring in their own hockey stick, cricket bat or tennis racquet etc, they may do so but please make sure it is named. Where hockey and rugby are on the programme a gum shield will be required, shin pads are compulsory for soccer and advisable for hockey and rugby
- How do I know which group my child is in? The coaches will divide the children into groups according to age and ability immediately after registration on the first day. Your child will stay in that group unless the coaches decide it is in their best interests to change.
- When is lunch on full day courses? All the children will have a 30 minute break to eat lunch together in the dining room at 12.30. Please provide a nutritious packed lunch an drink!
- Can parents come and watch the children? Yes, you may come and watch the children at any time.
- What happens if my child is ill or is injured? We will ring you immediately this happens. If you do not answer any of your contact telephone nos, we will contact the first person you have elected as an emergency contact. If necessary, an ambulance will be called and a member of staff will accompany the child to A & E.
- I have lost my medical form. What do I do? Administration has a list of parents that have not completed their form. There will be extra copies at registration so please make sure you fill in the details before you leave.
